Mediterranean Wine Tasting + Tapas

A gastronomic experience on Tabarca Island to discover Mediterranean flavours, local pairings, and cultural storytelling in a unique setting.

The tasting includes

  1. White wine DOP Alicante + cheese tapa
    Luis XIV traditional white wine (92 Parker points). Fresh Mediterranean profile. Floral and citrus aromas, good acidity.
  2. Red Wine DOP Alicante + cured meat tapa
    Monastrell- based wine, Luis XIV.
    Ripe fruit, medium body, spicy notes, aged in amphorae.
  3. Fondillón + chocolate tapa A historic gem of the Protected Designation of Origin Alicante. A noble aged wine, barrel-aged for many years, with notes of dried figs, coffee, and caramel.

Gastronomic Pairing

  • Artisanal cheese tapa from Alicante (Aged or semi-aged goat cheese from inland Alicante)
  • Traditional cured meat tapa Dry longaniza or local sobrasada
  • Alicante chocolate tapa Artisanal chocolate (possibly referencing historic producers such as Valor)
  • Tasting of extra virgin olive oil from Alicante
    Short guided tasting: intensity, fruitiness, spiciness, and bitterness.
